The Kappas of Durham Foundation, Inc. (KODF) was incorporated on November 29, 2000, in the state of North Carolina as a nonprofit entity to provide programs benefiting the youth in Durham County, North Carolina. Historically, the Foundation’s programs have been oriented toward African-American males. As the need for strong and positive male mentoring increases among all demographics, the Foundation looks to expand its programs to a more diverse population.

Brother 2 Brother Mentorship
This initiative focuses on mentoring, tutoring and computer training at Pearsontown Elementary School. Every Tuesday during the school year a select group of 5th grade minority males are exposed to positive male role models.

KODF Beautillion Militaire Program
The Annual Beautillion Militaire is a leadership and educational assistance program for male high school students, running from September to March with bi-monthly sessions.

KODF Golf Tournament
Each year the Kappas of Durham Foundation, Inc., and the Durham (NC) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. evaluates the needs of the youth of our community and selects an issue that we believe we can impact through our efforts.
